~God’s love letter~
I was there when you were born. I have watched you grow. I was the one who sculpted you into my image, my likeness. I am the Lord, the one who stood by your side when you fell down, after learning how to ride your bike. I was standing by you when you got stood up. I am your heavenly Father. I was crying with you when you found out you were going to be a parent long before your time. I am the Holy Spirit. I held your hand when you found out your best friend had been killed by a drunk driver. I laid awake with you when you found out you had lost your job. I am your Heavenly Father. I walked down the aisle with you when you were married. I was sitting in the pew as you said your last goodbye to your loved one. I am your Maker, the one who dried your stray tears. I was before your time; I am after your time. I created the earth. I am the alpha and the omega. I was long before you and long after you. You never knew it but I was holding your hand and crying with you. I love you; you are my beloved, my beautiful. I made you from dust, with my own hands. I never left you. If you would have ever turned around you would have seen me, for I do not hide myself, but I become hidden from you when you never look at me. I am always there if only you would turn around and look at my face. I was, I am, I will forever be, your truest lover. You are mine I am yours. You are my child; I am your parent. I am your God. I am love.
