1. Contrast “salt & light” and self-righteousness. How are they different?
2. Compare and contrast “salt & light” with “niceness”. How are they similar? How are they different?
3. If being salt and light are simply what ordinary persons who follow Jesus are, what kind of practices can disciples follow to keep their “saltiness”?
4. Do saltiness and light require words or are actions enough? Look to the life of Jesus for the answer.
