DESCRIPTION:On March 1\, 2025\, the global Church will gather. Every continent\, every denomination\, every generation – coming together to hear the story of the global Church. @Gather25 will be a historic moment of prayer\, worship\, repentance\, and commissioning. We\, as East Sunshine Church of Christ\, will be a satellite site for anyone to come participate in Springfield\, MO (starting the evening of February 28\, 2025). Plan to join us for this amazing time of prayer and community not only in our city but around the world!  \nGather25 is an unprecedented 25-hour global broadcast event telling the story and mission of the global Church\, by the global Church. For 25 hours\, Gather25 will be an opportunity for the 2.5 billion believers across the world to gather in prayer\, worship\, and repentance\, so that we can go out powerfully and collaboratively to reach the world. \nChurches\, campuses\, arenas\, and living rooms–every part of the global Church–will join together across every time zone and denomination in a historic gathering that is free to everyone\, everywhere.This is our moment in history to come together\, be encouraged by the stories of how God is moving across the earth\, and be inspired to carry the gospel out to every person on earth–but it won’t be a gathering of the global Church without you. \nWe invite you to begin praying with us about what the Lord will do during this time and be thinking about people you can invite to pray with us and with believers from across the world on March 1\, 2025. \n  \nLOCAL SCHEDULE: 25 hours starting FRIDAY\, FEBRUARY 28.  Join us from 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (for United States)\n(Come and Go at anytime for more broadcasts from around the world)\nFACEBOOK (local viewing location: East Sunshine Church of Christ)\nCLICK THIS LINK FOR: Hourly Schedule\, food options & childcare schedule

SUMMARY:IF:GATHERING 2023  - WOMEN'S RETREAT
DESCRIPTION:There will be good teaching\, community with other believers and time with friends\, not to mention great food as we gather and Watch God Move!\n\nThe focus of the weekend will be teachings from the IF: Gathering 2023\, which centered around Psalm 23. This will include speakers such as Jennie Allen\, John Mark Comer\, David Platt\, Sadie Robertson Huff\, and more. Feel free to check out the website (below) to learn more about IF Gathering.\n\n\nThe general flow of the weekend will be fellowship over a meal\, watch a video and worship\, break out into small groups to discuss the video\, enjoy a fun activity\, and repeat!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll women (18yr+) are invited to the retreat. You may stay the night (sharing a room) or commute to Tablerock Lake each day for the sessions. The location is in Lampe\, MO\, 5 miles south of Kimberling City\, about an hour drive from the Church building. There are two houses on the same property where the event will be held. Carpooling is encouraged! See the links below for the accommodations.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHouse 1\n\n\n \n\n\nCottage\n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, and sign ups will close September 10 for planning purposes.
