The Chosen | Episode 1 – Early Access
October 2 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
FREE
We are excited to have the opportunity to have early access to the first episode of The Chosen, Season 6.
*** There is a scene to consider as you pray/process if your child can watch with you. It shows the scene of Peter trying to defend Jesus during the arrest; cutting off the ear of the high priest’s servant, in the Garden of Gethsemane ***
John 18:10-11 Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) 11 Jesus commanded Peter, “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”
Other than this scene, it’s appropriate for all ages.
It’s a very impactful episode that begins the steps of Jesus’ obedient journey to the cross on behalf of all mankind to purchase our salvation. It also teaches us to pray for our enemies. We can’t wait for you to experience it on Friday, October 2. You are encouraged to invite your family and friends to watch with our East Sunshine family.
