
We are looking for volunteers (buddies) to help The Miracle League ball players. Games will be during the months of April and May. You do not need to know anything about baseball, you just need to show God’s love towards individuals with disabilities. Miracle League buddies are volunteers ranging in age from 12 years to senior citizens. These include family members, local youth and civic groups. Though we call them buddies, many people refer to these volunteers as angels in the outfield. We focus on:
The following are the goals for Miracle League buddies:

Always allow the Miracle League player as much freedom as possible to play his/her own game

Arrive at the field 30 minutes prior to game time

Assist Miracle League player according to their needs

Be of good spirit with enthusiasm, love, good attitude and concern in motivating the players and their families

Be properly dressed and clean dressed in buddies shirt

Become a friend; get to know the players and their families

Demonstrate high morals and integrity on and off the field

Protect the Miracle League player at all times

When a hard hitter is up to bat, buddies are to step in front of the Miracle League player for protection.
The games are one hour long and there will be one to two games per week. There are two games played per night.
